“Kids on a Mission” at Hiss UMC

Emily Heiger is a volunteer at Hiss United Methodist Church.  These photos are from her church’s Vacation Bible School this year, “Kids On A Mission”.  Emily shared the following with the Foundation:

“Kids learned about the various mission trips that Hiss has participated in throughout the years such as Camp Joy, Habitat for Humanity, and countries in South America. They even got to hear directly from a recent missionary school graduate!  All of the kids got to partake in their own mission on the final night of VBS by packing food to donate to local shelters in Baltimore. Some of the activities throughout the week included learning songs to praise God, making fun crafts, eating snacks from the countries that kids learned about, and participating in team building games.”

We love to hear about the amazing work happening in our partner churches.  It sounds as though Hiss UMC is raising the next generation of disciples ready to go out and transform the world for Jesus!
