Foundation Staff Make Furry Friends for Simpson UMC Mission Outreach

The Foundation staff held a year-end retreat at Simpson UMC on Wednesday, December 7th.  We spent the morning reflecting on all the Foundation has achieved in 2022, and doing some planning for excellence in 2023.  We then spent the afternoon working on a mission project together which resulted in 10 stuffed animals.

When the monkeys, moose, bears and dogs were finished they just needed a home, and where better than to children served by the Family Promise outreach of the church.  Annie Young, Treasurer, and Castella Le Compte, President of the Usher Board, took possession of their new furry friends and we are thrilled that they will be distributed before the holidays.
