About MAUMF

The Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation (MAUMF) is a tax-exempt  nonprofit formed to serve three conferences of the United Methodist Church: Eastern Pennsylvania, Peninsula-Delaware, and the Baltimore-Washington Conferences.

Together, these conferences include 300,000 United Methodists and 1,400 churches.

Since the merging of foundations in 2010, MAUMF has steadily grown assets under management. Today, MAUMF is approaching one hundred twenty million in assets invested on behalf of the churches within the conferences we serve.

Half of MAUMF’s fees pays its investment managers, and the other half is re-invested in our mission of helping churches thrive. As assets under management grow, MAUMF has offered more classes, more speakers who visit churches to energize stewardship, and more free consulting and/or coaching for our conference churches.

MAUMF partners with Fulton Financial Advisors to administer a family of funds developed exclusively for MAUMF. This allows our financial managers to diversify across a broad spectrum of asset classes and categories.

Money is a vital ministry tool. MAUMF helps churches develop a culture of generous giving. We then help make the most of those assets to help each church advance its ministries – within congregations, across communities, and around the world.
